Rexhame Beach Trail

Marshfield

Dog friendly Resident sticker/daily fee likely

Located in Marshfield, Rexhame Beach Trailwith natural wetland habitats. This trail system is perfect for hiking. While our initial visit was in the blustery Winter months, the idea of taking a summer stroll along the marsh sounds pretty perfect to us. Visitors particularly enjoy this destination during winter activities season. Like nearly all the town trails in Marshfield, dogs are welcome at Rexhame. During the off-season month's you can visit this area for free, but there is a fee for parking during the peak Summer season. For more information on parking fees, you can check out the Police Dept's website. Also explore Marshfield Launch and Brooks-Tilden Shipyard and Phillips Farm Preserve, other trails in Marshfield. Try Marshfield Launch and Brooks-Tilden Shipyard for a similar trail experience featuring wetland.

Points of Interest

  • Beach Access - easy to get down from the trail and let your dog play
  • Many Benches - I'm not sure I've ever seen so many benches dedicated to dogs before
  • Marsh Trails - Pretty diverse trails that will take you from the parking lot to a gentle marsh and then through some dunes to the beach
