Eel River Woods

Located in Hingham, Eel River Woods is a 12 acre property featuring scenic pond views. This trail system is perfect for hiking. The Niles family have previously donated 4 additional acres along Cushing Pond. Visitors particularly enjoy this destination during fall foliage season. The Eel River Woods trail is probably something that you've driven by a million times. Although the trail system totals less than a mile, it feels like a bit more due to the number of loops, hills, and benches that are included. While the Fall is beautiful in New England, we think this trail probably shines the most in early Spring on account of some of the plant life and wild flowers.
