Caddy Memorial Parkwith natural wetland habitats. The 0. 33 mile trail accommodates hiking, biking, and picnicking. 33-mile trail -- paved from the parking area to a footbridge, then gravel the rest of the way -- looping past marshland and views of Black's Creek. Oak, cedar, elm, sumac, and pitch pine line the edge of the salt marsh, and an osprey nest is visible from the trail. The park was constructed in 1999, and Native American artifacts dating back roughly 3,500 years were uncovered during that work -- several engraved boulders along the trail now provide ecological and historical context for visitors.
