Located in Rockland, Summer Street Conservation Lands is a 14 acre property featuring scenic pond views. This trail system is perfect for hiking. From the French's Stream Bridge, look for an unmarked trail with red Hanover Conservation blazes veering left into a grassy power easement; it winds through Summer Street's woodlands for about a mile before linking up with the other trails. This property is easy to miss on its own, since it's not currently accessible directly from Rockland -- but as a connector, it ties together a network of trails around the old National Fireworks Company site, where concrete structures (now mostly covered in graffiti) hint at the area's industrial past.
