Brockton Audubon Preserve
Brockton Audubon Preserve is a 126 acre property with natural wetland habitats. The 2 mile trail is ideal for hiking and swimming. A striking 20-foot glacial erratic (a boulder deposited by Ice Age glaciers) marks the center of the preserve. Managed by Wildlands Trust since 2012, the preserve's gentle terrain and flat topography with boardwalks make it accessible to new trail users, and the property serves as the core of a 300-acre wildlife corridor connecting to Stone Farm Conservation Area. Try Sydney Ice Pond for a similar trail experience featuring wetland.
